The cabin area in Herheimsdalen is idyllically located in a quiet area with views of the lakes and surrounding mountains.
In summer, one can drive a car to the area. During the winter months it is about 3 km to the car park at Fiveland, but with possibilities for snowmobile transport.
There is great hiking terrain in Herheimsdalen all year round, with Austerheimsdalen and Åbødalen as nearby valleys with associated trail and trail networks.
The area has lakes and creeks for fishing and swimming close by, in a child-friendly and peaceful cabin area of Sauda.
